The Benton County Archers was established in the early 1980's. The club Headquarters is located in Van Horne, Iowa and is currently 40 members strong. There is a 20 yard indoor shooting range located in Van Horne, Iowa. There is open shooting throughout the year at the indoor range. The club also holds adult and youth leagues throughout the late winter months at the Indoor range.
We also have an outdoor range where we hold four 3-D shoots throughout the summer. This is a range situated in the timber; capable of 40 3-D targets. The outdoor range is located on the west side of Hannen Lake just southwest of Blairstown, Iowa.
Monthly meetings are the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. The club is 100% Iowa Bowhunters Assoc. (IBA) affiliated, membership for the IBA is included in the clubs membership fees. Membership dues are $60 for family and $45 for single. Annual dues are renewed in July, with membership fees prorated from the month you join. New members are always Welcome!
